What we help with

You don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong to start therapy

People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons. Some arrive with a clear sense of what they want to work on. Others just know that something doesn't feel right, or that what used to help isn't helping any more. Both are good places to begin.

These are some of the things people most often bring to us. Each page explains a little more about how it can feel, how therapy can help, and what to expect.

Anxiety and stress

Worry, panic, overthinking, feeling on edge

Bereavement and loss

Grief in all its forms

Something else?

These are only some of the things we work with. Whatever is on your mind, you're welcome to get in touch.

If you're not sure whether therapy is right for you, or who to see, contact us, call us on 0115 772 2132 or email hello@therapynottingham.co.uk and we'll help you work it out.

We're not an emergency service. If you're in crisis, call NHS 111 and choose the mental health option, call Samaritans free on 116 123, or call 999 if you or someone else is in immediate danger.
